RARE BOOKS SAN FRANCISCO

For the first time in more than a decade, antiquarian book fairs return to the Golden Gate City with Rare Books San Francisco!

Presenting the finest antiquarian booksellers, ephemera, and map dealers from all over the world, this exciting event takes place February 3-5, 2023, at The Hibernia, a recently restored, historic former bank building. Directly across the street is The Proper, the official hotel partner of Rare Books San Francisco, which was recently named one of the best hotels in the city by Forbes magazine.

With support from our sponsors, The San Francisco Chronicle and Biblio.com, tickets for a special opening night on Friday, February 3, benefit our cultural partners, including The Book Club of California, Friends of the San Francisco Public Library, the Codex Foundation and the Society of California Pioneers.

Rare Books San Francisco has arranged secure valet parking for $80 per day at The Proper Hotel across the street. The Civic Center Garage is the nearest public parking station, and the Civic Center BART stop is just one minute away.
