[2], 31 plus [22]pp ads at rear; and [1], 68, [1], 21 plus [7]pp ads at rear. The first edition bound in yellow cloth boards with gilt title and illustration on front cover. The second edition in printed wrappers. Both volumes complete and in fair to good condition, the first with ffep loose, cracking to inner hinge and upper joint, with split at head of spine, and chipping at spine ends. The second lacking rear wrapper, front wrapper detached and with tape residue along spine, chipped to fore edge. Ownership signature of prominent Mill Valley, CA resident Eva A. Finn dated 1891 on front. Both clean internally and quite readable, protected in mylar covers, and housed in a custom clamshell case.

A tremendous working set of Mabel Collins' foundational theosophy text, Light on the Path, with the rare second edition containing additional chapters "Comments on Light on the Path" and "How Best to Become a Theosophist."
