Facsimile working first-draft manuscript of "The Broken Balance" housed in Jeffers commemorative envelope with stamp at rear, as issued. Blue cloth boards with gilt stamped front cover and printed spine label, t.e.g., in dust jacket. Housed in a blue velvet slipcase with bronze portrait of Jeffers by Beilke inset into the front. Book with some smudging to page block edge, jacket with a couple small edge tears. Slipcase in nice shape.
