Book lightly worn at spine ends and corner tips else near fine in a very good example of the scarce jacket with chipping along upper edge of rear panel, head of spine, and corners.
Attractively illustrated text for the young reader, with Native American Legends grouped by U.S. state, and with a pronunciation guide at the rear. From the Long Ago Series by the Chicago text and school book publisher, Lyons and Carnahan. We have not before witnessed a copy in the exceedingly scarce jacket. Item #9859
