First edition, number 73 of 300 copies. 26x20cm, 28, [2]pp. Title in three colors, illustrated green borders throughout by Florence Lundborg. Linen backed pale paper boards, printed spine label. Bookplate of Beatrice Thompson and Chinese Stamp to front endpapers. Boards bumped and soiled, cloth frayed at spine ends, page edges toned. A very good copy of a scarce and fragile book.
An early work from both Clark Ashton Smith, his second published book, as well as the Book Club of California which was founded in 1912. Contains several longer poems from Smith who was known for his weird tales output in the Lovecraft circle of writers. Scarce. Item #9511
