Some marginal staining to prelims else a near fine copy.
Very nice contemporary binding on this extremely popular, and which went through numerous editions in a short time, chronological history of secular events, rulers, clergy, etc. in Europe. In the historical overview of eras and lists of important dates, there are a few mentions of the Americas, but the text is generally centered on Spain, Italy, and France. Item #9340
