Invitation to John and Cindy McCain's "Wednesday Night Live" event with SNL actors Darrell Hammond and Joe Piscopo. The event took place at the restaurant Cipriani 42nd Street on September 1, 2004 during the RNC. The McCains actively fundraised for Bush Jr.'s reelection campaign (despite losing the 2000 primary nomination to him) effectively drafting the blueprint for John's presidential campaign in 2008.
The cover image is a reworking of Nonstop New York by Charles Fazzino featuring many iconic New York locations with added nods to McCain and the Republican Party. For example, a billboard reads, "McCAIN #1 ABBA FAN!!" and when the invitation is opened, it still plays Abba's hit song, "Mamma Mia". The 2004 Republican National Convention took place from August 30 to September 2, 2004, at Madison Square Garden.
