Publisher's gray cloth with blue lettering and decoration in illustrated jacket by Thelma Cudlipp. Spine cocked, bubbling to cloth on front cover, former owner's bookplate to front pastedown. Jacket toned and with loss at head of spine, owner's inscription to spine, and some rubbing and tearing along folds. Very good.
Very scarce and early romance novel from Rinehart. We have observed copies of the jacket with $1.50 price on the spine, with and without a review blurb from the New York Sun on the rear panel. This jacket priced $1.40 and without the blurb. Additionally, the title page bears the early Doran monogram. Item #9215
