N.p. Thomas R. Anderson, 1985. 18x24" printed in black on cream colored stock with illustrations, and signed by Anderson. Pin holes at corners and upper edge, one small edge tear and a few smudges. Rolled. Very good.

An attractive poster which plots the predicted path of Halley's Comet prior to its return in 1986.  Anderson thanks Yeomans in the credits for his calculations, mentioning he was only .6" arc off from his predicted position when Halley's was recovered in October, 1982.  Anderson provides a scientific overview of the construction of comets, a predicted timeline against a backdrop of the zodiac constellations, myth and history around the comet, and information on Halley and telescopes.
