Book of poetry by the nationally acclaimed choral director of the North Fulton Special Choir whose alumni include Jack Davis and James Dickey. The cover art came from a 1974 caricature by Jack Davis and was presented by The Buckhead Boys to Lowrance who claimed it "is responsible for the title, the jacket cover, and, incidentally, for two of the included poems." James Dickey penned the introduction.
This copy inscribed on ffep to John Ransom Lewis during his tenure as poet laureate of Georgia. He was appointed by then Governor Jimmy Carter in 1974 until his death in 1997. Item #8201
