London: Chapman and Hall, 1913. Later printing. 8vo. 173pp. Green cloth with gilt stamped to cover and spine and black text on cover, edgewear and library sticker remnants to spine, very good. Library plate on front pastedown, pages toned, front hinge loose because handwritten account of local contractors union and pamphlet were laid in the front cover, very good. This copy belonged to the North Dakota Agricultural College and Experiment Station Library.

The handwritten notes are string bound and written on both lined and graph paper measuring 20 cm x 12.5 cm. The first page opens with, "Fargo ND  August 17, 20  A call was made for meeting of Master-Painters of the state with the idea in view of forming a state Master Painters association." Officers and board members were selected and a group was formed during that first meeting. Throughout the 8 years of notes collected here the organization changes name, affiliation, and merges with a similar South Dakota group before ending up as part of the Associated Contractors of South Dakota. Included are meeting minutes, attendance records, and account ledgers. Laid in with it is a pamphlet measuring 17 cm x 8 cm with the agenda for the Twelfth Annual Meeting of Associated Contractors of South Dakota January 18-20, 1927 which is also noted in the handwritten record. The last attendance record is in 1928. Item #8056
