Winthrop Palmer was an educator, author, and poet who taught literature and fine arts at C.W. Post College. She was also the first woman to chair the Long Island University's board of trustees. This is her second novel written amidst her work in the State Senate and National Democratic Committee and directing ballet.


Amanda explores the inner conflict of a young woman who is caught between societal demands and her heart's desires during the roaring 20's.
