Beautifully illustrated and printed promotional booklet for the City of Destiny's oldest hotel. The Tacoma hotel was designed by Stanford White and opened in 1884, occupying an entire city block from 9th to 10th on A Street. It was known as the grandest hotel north of San Francisco. Tragically, the hotel burned down in a fire on October 17th, 1935 in which, mircaculously, there were no casualties.
