dr. dobb's journal of Computer Calisthenics & Orthodontia [Volumes 2-4, 28 issues]
Menlo Park, CA: People's Computer Company, 1977-79. 28 staple bound issues in printed self wrappers, generally 50-60pp in length. Few illustrations, ads, publisher's renewal cards, etc. Some toning to pages, mostly in Volume 4. Few bent corners, edge wear. Generally very good.
Scarce set of original issues from 2nd through 4th years of Dr. Dobb's Journal, which was launched as a quarterly xerographed newsletter by Bob Albrecht and Dennis Allison. The privately circulated publication was so popular, the magazine launched the following year with Jim Warren as its editor, and as the first ongoing periodical devoted entirely to software and programming.
Price: $400.00
