First UK edition of this adventure novel from Los Angeles writer and University of Washington graduate, Leta Zoe Adams.  The book was originally published in the US by Rand McNally in 1939 and appeared in the UK in this format in 1943 as the first entry in the new Hutchinson's Girls' Adventure Series.  This edition is decidedly more scarce than the U.S. edition and especially so in jacket.  .
