Each issue staple bound, some in self-wrappers some in card wrappers. Generally very good or better with some toning, rubbing, and edge wear. Issue 80 with ownership signature and a few annotations in ink.
An uncommon periodical, and one of many published by the church, this one designated the "Official Publication of Dianetics and Scientology in the Americas." The first issue, published Ca. 1955, gives a wordy statement of purpose for the new publication:
"Ability... combines the HDRF Bulletins and the HASI Journal. This magazine is being produced to handle the job of communication necessary for the swiftest attaining of the goals of Dianetics and Scientology as they are being acceleratively swiftly approached by the Dianeticists and Scientologists of today who, knowing the communication formula well are going awfully fast, and who when they demand information, demand it upon the instant."
