Scarce and fragile WWI poster from France seeking subscribers to the 2nd National Defense Loan of 1916.  Roughly translated:

"2nd National Defense Loan. Subscribe, help us to win, you will hasten the day of victory and of our return home."

The artist is Jean-Jacques Waltz (1873-1951) using his pseudonym, "Hansi."  Waltz served in both World Wars and was a committed Pro-French activist.  . Item #6486
