Remnants of old school library labels (1880s) to front paste downs, some scattered light foxing else clean internally. Boards rubbed, spines toned and with a bit of fraying at the ends. A very good set.
Nice two volume set of this educational work for children, on exploration of the polar seas and whaling. Originally published in 1836, volume XXVI and XXVII of the Boy's and Girls LIbrary of Useful and Entertaining Knowledge. Really a charming set in the original, uniform cloth. . Item #6398
