Charming pocket almanac from Mariano José de Zúñiga y Ontiveros (1749-1825), Colonial Mexican philomath and surveyor.  Ontiveros published a series of these almanacs as well as other works on weather prediction, apparitions and manifestations of the Virgin Mary, and others.  This iteration, as stated in the preface, is published in the 2nd year of the new Spanish Constitution during the Trienio Liberal, year 14 of the reign of Ferdinand VII, year 290 of the Miraculous Apparition of Our Lady de Guadalupe, and other important dates, generally following Roman Martyrology.

Lists phases of the moon with illustrations, month by month, astronomical signs, weather patterns, feast and holidays, etc.  A fascinating and scarce object from the tail end of Colonial Mexico.
