Parlin, NJ: E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Company, Inc., [1923]. Single sheet, 27x12cm, with embossed gilt borders and lettering, printed in blue and black. Small moisture stain to upper corner, few smudges, mounted to brown matting which shows toning.
Vintage DuPont specimen page advertising the company's bronze powder used for illumination in modern printing. The ad mentions the sending of these pages or samples of the powder to commercial printing factories. We find mention of this ad in two magazines from 1923, The Printing Art, Volume 41, No. 1 and The Inland Printer, vol 71, No. 1. A scarce and beautiful example of 1920's printing advertising from the chemical giant. Item #6093
