Set of 3 New Series issues of Alan Leo's (1860-1917) Modern Astrology magazine, March, November, and December 1930. The magazine was founded in 1890 as The Astrologer's Magazine, changing its name to Modern Astrology in 1895. Its stated object was to "thoroughly purify and re-establish the ancient science of Astrology. Through planetary symbology, it seeks to explain the ONE universal spirit in its varied manifestations."
Bessie Leo (1858-1931, wife of Alan, regularly contributed to the journal and was editor from 1929-Jun 1931, following her death in May of that year. Perhaps she or someone else at the publishing office presented these March and November issues.
