Full color lithograph signed by Cisneros and accompanied by a nicely printed biography of the artist by Evan Haywood Antone. The biography sheet is additionally signed and inscribed by Vicenta and José to Charlotte and Jack [Rittenhouse]. Light bumping to corners else fine.

Beautiful signed lithograph from El Paso artist, José Cisneros from his Riders of the Spanish Borderlands series.  Accompanying sheet is inscribed "for our good friends Charlotte and Jack" in José's hand, from him and his wife, Vicenta.  Rittenhouse was a bookseller and founder of the Stagecoach press in Albuquerque, and for whose publications Cisneros did several illustrations.  


This uncommon publication was perhaps issued as a Christmas greeting in 1972.  OCLC locates two holdings.
