DeGolyer Foundation Library Occasional Publication Number 7, a facsimile of this promotional pamphlet printed in Galveston ca. 1883, from the original housed at the library. Contains letters from cattlemen lauding the shipping route and rejecting the cattle drive as a thing of the past. On the back is a nicely detailed map of all the stops on the route from Galveston up through Dallas and north to Paris. An uncommon facsimile. Item #5431
