Promotional prospectus booklet for this coal mining operation with offices in Denver, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and operating mines at Elk Mountain/Kent in Carbon County, Wyoming. Wonderfully illustrated with historic photographs of the mining town of Kent, its inhabitants and workers, its operations and the mines themselves.
The Colorado-Wyoming Coal Company was incorporated in 1910 with 6,000,000 in capital, taking over the coal properties of the Northwestern Land & Iron Company and with plans to develop and strengthen the railways in the area.
