First edition of this "Novel from the Play," originally written in 1920 by Rinehart and Hopwood, and based upon Rinehart's original 1908 mystery novel, The Circular Staircase. Book is very good in publisher's yellow boards with black lettering and design showing some pushing at heel, and some soiling and tanning to edge of page block. Uncommon jacket is very good with a couple small chips from head of spine, rubbing at corners, and soiling and a few small tears to rear panel. Very Good / Very Good. Item #3161
