Stated first edition, in stiff wrappers bearing original dust jacket illustration, though 29 titles are listed on the back, so a later state back panel. Probably a military base issue, though has been thought to be a proof. Regardless, this issue is very hard to find. Very good in wraps with considerable rubbing to edges of spine. Laid in is an Evan Hunter signature clipped from a glossy dust jacket flap. Very Good. Item #2048
