A wonderfully titled novel by silent film actress De Sacia Mooers (1888–1960), who made a specialty of the “blonde vamp,” playing against the usual dark haired screen type. The book was closely tied to its screen adaptation using photo play illustrations and ending with the advertisement, "Read the Book Then See the Picture." The film appeared in 1922 with Mooers herself starring as Marcia, the headstrong woman whose taste for dangerous men draws her into the criminal underworld. A scarce book. Item #10324
