Canadian journalist and historian Charles Richard Tuttle (1848-1918) was well known for his numerous histories of Canada and the Midwest, but later in life he turned to New Thought.  This book, announced as the first book in a series which never came to fruition, is an elaborate cosmology in the movement which presents life as an evolution through planes from celestial and angelic to divine and spiritual.  Tuttle argues death is merely birth into a higher form towards harmony with a male-female "Father-Mother God".  He describes colors, tones, odors, magnetism, knowledge, temperature, etc. are all "life foods" which act upon the body, mind, and soul in different ways.  A very eccentric work, and quite scarce.  OCLC cites 6 physical holdings.
