Jin Shin Jyutsu is a holistic practice founded by Jiro Murai after overcoming serious illness at the age of 26 in 1912. He developed an adjustment method using the hands placed on two parts of a person’s body to transmit energy. Thirty-four years after his initial discovery of Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1912, Murai began to teach. Mary (Iino) Burmeister arrived in Japan in the late 1940s where she developed a deep and lasting friendship with Murai and agreed to take the gift of Jin Shin Jyutsu back to America. . Item #10231
