New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1935. Second Large Printing, stated on jacket. 8vo, 373pp. Frontis, black and white photos throughout. Signed and inscribed by Ishimoto to the former and dated 1937, in Tokyo, on the ffep. Beige cloth with blue, illustrated labels on upper board and spine, top edge stained red. Very good with minimal wear to boards, spine label lightly faded. Jacket spine sunned and with chipping at spine ends and corners, and a couple tape repairs to the underside.

Signed copy of this autobiography from Shidzue Katō (1897-2001), influential Japanese feminist who was particularly important in establishing birth control education in japan.  Following the publication of this work, Katō would go on to serve as the first woman elected to the national legislature of Japan.
