The final work from William Lilly, Anima Astrologiae, which was originally published in 1675, is reprinted here some 200 years later with notes and a preface by William C. Eldon Serjeant, giving a good idea of the lasting appeal and influence of the great English astrologer. The work is the translations of portions of the 146 Considerations by Guido Bonatus (and translated by Henry Coley, with Lilly as the editor) and seven chapters by Jérôme Cardan, which deal mainly with horary astrology and natal charts.
