[Llano]: N.p., [ca. 1908]. Third edition. 12mo, 76pp. Textured brown wrappers stamped in red. Good condition, from the Grand Lodge of Texas Masonic Library with bookplate to inside front cover, a few stamps to preliminaries, card and pocket removed from rear endpaper and inside rear cover leaving scuffing and remnants of paper. Front cover scuffed from tape removal, the rest of which is still adhered to the spine and rear cover. Complete internally. Collection of reminiscences originally printed in the Llano Times of Miles Barler (1833-1907), a merchant, deputy sheriff and Texas Ranger in the area. The articles were collected and privately published ca. 1898, another edition appearing in 1905. Howes lists this as the third edition, which likely appeared just a few years later.
